I’ll let you in on a little secret: my shop has been very quiet as of late because the projects I have recently taken on really eat up my jewelry-making time. Not that I’m complaining, it’s actually quite exciting–although some may never see the light of day–they include correcting decades-overdue grievances, learning some new skills, prettying up our home and laying the groundwork for a lifelong dream of mine. Between hopping and bopping from one task to the next (and completely ignoring my new kiln–sorry, buddy!) I like to step out into the garden, take deep breaths, ooh and ahh over the loveliness unfolding in these early autumn months and as Lizzy Bennet would say, simply “enjoy the general splendor.” I have many more garden shares for you, including some new roses, (huzzah!) but in the meantime, here are some recent photographic musings.

Lovely musings! Great pictures to enjoy, which I did. Thanks for sharing this garden splendor with us.
