Dear Readers,
These days, I am finding it a bit of a challenge to continue writing for this site as my attentions are pulled in so many different directions. Therefore, I am allowing myself to walk away from it for a while. I may be back, I may not, but for now I’m going to direct my energy to keeping my Instagram accounts current with updates from the home garden, our allotment, our home and my jewelry designs.
I will also continue to update my AMAZON shopping pages so be sure to check it out for my favorite gardening tools, books and more. —-> Hedgerow Rose on Amazon
Here’s where you will be able to find me on Instagram:
For all things ROSES: Hedgerow Rose
For updates on the CHICKENS: Hedgerow Hens
For EVERYTHING ELSE: Hedgerow Home
Even though this blog is currently CLOSED, all posts will remain up on site for as long as possible for continued reference. Thank you all for following along and being part of this lovely community of gardeners. It’s been a pleasure being your host!Β

Thanks, Laurie! Totally understand, and I’m glad you’ll leave the site up, I do refer to it and very much appreciate your time and expertise here. Thank you for the time and creativity you’ve put into this. I appreciate it all! Happy Gardening and see you on Insta!
Thank you Cole! I’ve really enjoyed our conversations here and am so grateful for all your visits. π
I love your blog and understand that it’s work to keep up. I thank you for it! It was my source for learning about roses and gardening and really guided me and encouraged me. I discovered your blog a year ago when I started trying to garden for the first time. We bought a house with a run down yard, which was a blank slate and very intimidating! I will find you on instagram now. Thank you for all your work!! You should write a book (seriously!).
Aww Susan, that brought such a smile to my face, thank you! Starting a new garden can be mindboggling-ly overwhelming so I’m thrilled you were able to find some inspiration here. π
^^What Susan said!!! “It was my source for learning about roses and gardening and really guided me and encouraged me.” Sincerest and deepest thank yous for your hard work creating this beautiful, inspiring, honest, hopeful, educational site, on top of creating your gardens! Will keep following you on Instagram!!
Claire, that is so kind of you to say! My husband has been pestering me (in the nicest way) to write a book and when I told him what you and Susan said he was like, “see??” maybe someday I will. I appreciate your encouragement! π
I have read every one of your blog posts and come back to them time and again. I hope they remain available as long as possible and thank you so much for sharing them. I donβt do Instagram but second the idea of a book. Your photography is wonderful!
Thank you Joyce! The photography bit was always my favorite part about writing the posts. In most cases, it was the photo that inspired the article. I’m so pleased that you are enjoying these posts…it makes it all worthwhile! π
