Constance Spry
Up until about 5 minutes ago I was feeling quite sassy thinking I had a nice nest egg of photos of the garden to pull from for the blog this winter. Nope. Not nearly as much as I thought (I blame my iPhone addiction which kept me from picking up the Nikon as much as I should) but lookie what I did find tucked away: a few photos of ‘Constance Spry’ taken at the Penn State Rose and Fragrance garden last summer. I only vaguely remember taking these and from the slightly topsy-turvy appearance I must have been in a hurry that day but look how pretty she is! Ah, Constance, you old charmer you. {EDIT: It just occurred to me that with our midge problem–the likelihood that I will be sticking with once bloomers–this might be a rose I want to grow. If anyone has any experience with growing Constance Spry from a band could you let me know how quickly she grew to house eater size? :)}
Hi,
So sorry to hear your nest egg of photo’s of your garden is less than you hoped for. Your problem sounds familiar 🙂 The ones you post are beautiful though. Constance Spry is such a pretty rose!

Haha! I figured there would be others who could relate to the photo woes. 😉 Thank you for visiting, Madelief!
