Apothecary’s Rose
I’m so tickled to finally be able to share better photos of R. gallica ‘Officinalis’, better known as ‘Apothecary’s Rose’. She has taken to her new home in the ground quite nicely. Apart from that weird case of powdery mildew that she also had last spring, looks absolutely perfect and is blooming like crazy right now. Such a charming rose.
Really a beautiful rose. No wonder it’s been around so long.
Beautiful photos of a lovely rose. It’s like growing a piece of history!
Gorgeous!
This is a dream rose for me… AR is sooo bezutiful. I will get this rose one day! Haha
You should! It’s very pretty–and it gets hips, too, which is nice.
