Vintage, faceted glass stones are set in brass settings upon which I have soldered sterling silver posts. (Each pair will also come equipped with sterling silver butterfly-style clutch backings.) The brass has been hand oxidized and polished to a dark brown for an antique look.

Glowing “Topaz” Austrian crystals are set in brass prong settings and suspend simply from bronzed leverback ear wires. Before setting the stones, I oxidized the brass to the deep, rich brown of my signature “Estate Earrings” and then individually hand-polished and sealed the finish with a clear lacquer. The cut and shape of the crystal combined with the dark brass finish give these earrings an antique look, like something you might find in your great-grandmother’s jewelry box.
