Daffodil 100 Collection and Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus
Daffodil, Narcissus, whatever you choose to call them, they’re reigning supreme this time of year. (Technically, all daffs belong to the Narcissus genus. In our home, we call them “Dillies” because we’re cute like that.) We have a small drift of the Daffodil 100 Collection™ from Colorblends, which provide reliable color for the entire season (recommend!), but it’s the Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus growing in clumps by our front door which have stolen my heart. I love the wild look to them. Do you have Daffodils blooming in your garden? Which ones do you love most?
I have to admit that seeing this I have a bit of daffodil envy! I had various kinds of daffodils in my garden in Cleveland. Here I don’t see a single one! How could someone not have a single daffodil in their yard? I know one thing I’ll be doing in the fall.
Me, too! You can never have too many.
Very fond of ‘Fortissimo’, ‘Tahiti’, and ‘Sorbet’ here. I plant a few new-to-me varieties each fall, and haven’t yet found one I don’t like!
Thank you Kimberley! I will check them out! 🙂
