i always wanted to know , can all roses be propagated by seeds ?
all the pic of diff varieties of roses are breath taking , i covet all of them
Hi Apurva
Yes, roses can be propagated by seeds although the method can be a bit tricky. The resulting plant won’t be identical to the parent but it can be a fun experiment! Personally, I prefer rooting cuttings from roses as a means of propagating as it’s a much simpler approach and I know what I’m going to get (as the rose will have the same genetic material as the plant you took cuttings from.) Here’s a great article I found about growing roses from seeds if you’re interested!
