Feed the Soil

It starts with the soil. In my opinion, building healthy soil is the single most important thing you can do in your garden. Nutrient rich, alive soil means you will have healthier plants and they, in turn, have a better ability to fight off pests and disease…. 

Encourage Beneficials

Beneficial insects, songbirds, amphibians and more should be encouraged to live happily in your garden. Include pollen and nectar-rich flowers in your garden. Provide a year-round water source. Build a wildlife pond. Don’t be too “tidy” when maintaining the garden…
