‘Munstead Wood’
I just can’t stop taking pictures of ‘Munstead Wood’. What a gorgeous rose! You can read about it’s introduction to our garden HERE, but I just wanted to add one more thing: this rose makes an excellent cut flower, as you can see from the photos. They last a very long time in a vase and of course smell fantastic.
Absolutely beautiful! Gotta question.. Do you have Souvenir de la Malmaison?
I do! But truth be told it’s been a real pill. Not much of a vigorous grower, I’m afraid. I relocated it this morning and if it doesn’t work out it’s going to get the ol’ shovel.
Its not a fast grower as I have been told, but other then that how is it?
I just received mine in a 1gal today 🙂
For us, very prone to powdery mildew. Doesn’t like to be pruned, either. Good luck with yours!
Beautiful rose. Love the color
My poor photography skills are not even doing the color justice. It’s so much deeper in person. Austin really outdid himself with this one!
