Tattered Beauty
This was one of those rings where up until the moment I put the set the stone (in this case a button), I wasn’t at all sure it was going to work. It was touch go for a minute and kind of frustrating because every single one of those little rhinestones had to be popped out and then re-epoxied. But worth it in the end? I’m kind of starting to love it. It especially feels wonderful on–weighty and luxurious. Also a bit ghosty–like a tattered grey lady going “whoooo whooooo” as she floats down the halls of a haunted Victorian. Maybe I’m taking my romantic sensibilities a bit too far.
Also, it reminds me of this piece which I was sad to see go!
That is a beautiful ring, old buttons are usually OOAK and my favorite. It does look victorian
and that is my fav with the roaring 20s
Thank you Jessica!
