Simple Beauty Rose Series 2014
It’s that time of year again when I gather up the Simple Beauty rose photos I took from the summer and have them made into snazzy magnets. Admittedly, I’m patting myself on the back with this new tradition because it is just so dang neat to see the roses’ friendly faces lined up on the fridge, especially when it’s gross out and I’m dreaming of my garden. But I’m also kind of cross with myself because there are a bunch of new varieties that I forgot to photograph for this series so I’m making a mental note to do better for next summer as this is such a fun way to record what’s growing in the garden. (I write the variety on the backs of the magnets with a white paint pen to keep track.) Here’s the link to where I have my magnets made up if you’d like to make some for yourself! Top/bottom-left/right: Arcata Pink Globe & Baltimore Belle, Apothecary’s Rose, Julia Child, Aimée Vibert, Celsiana, The Endeavour, Henri Martin, Princess Alexandra of Kent, Mme Alfred Carriére, Lady of Shalott, Julia Child (again), Common Moss, Darcey Bussell, Cornelia, Munstead Wood, Belinda’s Dream
So lovely!
Thanks!
