This month, 5 years ago, I began Hedgerow Rose. It was a simple post and I had no idea then that this space would occupy so much of my time and affection. Blogging original content is hard work, as I’m sure many of you know firsthand, but being here has taught me so much and I am grateful for the experience. I am also most appreciative for all of you who’ve dropped in over the years and been so encouraging and helpful. If not for you, I’d just be sitting here talking to myself! So, thank you. 🙂

Congrats on five years of blogging! I purchased fritillaria bulbs in your honor and I’m planting them in my garden today – in a sunny, moist spot – as you suggested. I love when I read your blog and discover a flower or rose or … nail color for my daughter previously unknown to me. Your blog is a whimsical treasure hunt for all of us who wander past.
